Bradford Senior Citizens Expo Set for Aug. 2, Causer Says
July 25, 2019
BRADFORD – Rep. Martin Causer (R-Turtlepoint) is inviting area senior citizens to the 17th annual Senior Citizens Expo Friday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Sports and Fitness Gymnasium.
The event is free to attend, and lunch will be provided. A new addition to the event this year features two informational sessions about REAL ID. PennDOT officials will discuss who needs to obtain a REAL ID and the documentation required to obtain it. The seminars will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
“This is a great opportunity for area senior citizens, their family members and caregivers to learn more about programs and services available to them, all in one convenient location,” Causer said. “I encourage people to join us for this informative event.”
State, county and local exhibitors will be on hand to distribute information and answer questions. Information about health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, fire safety, financial planning, fraud protection, government services, hunting/fishing and personal safety will be available. Health screenings will also be offered, and door prizes will be awarded.
Additional expos are scheduled Friday, Sept. 13, at the Kane Community Center, and Friday, Oct. 11, at the Roulette Fire Hall. Both events also will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For more information about the senior expos, contact Causer’s Bradford office at (814) 362-4400. Information is also available at RepCauser.com or on Facebook at Facebook.com/RepCauser.
