House Ag Committee to Discuss PA Dairy Industry Issues

WHAT:	The House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, chaired by Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), will consider the following bills at its upcoming voting meeting: 
•	House Bill 918: Would repeal five antiquated and no-longer-relevant laws. 
•	House Bill 1223: Would allow for the creation of Keystone Opportunity Dairy Zones to encourage new or additional processing capacity for Pennsylvania milk. 
•	House Bill 1224: Would allow the Milk Marketing Board the ability, but not the requirement, to collect and distribute milk premiums. 
•	House Bill 1755: Would require the State Conservation Commission to submit annual reports to the General Assembly.
