WHAT:   Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), chairman of the House Majority Policy Committee, will lead a hearing entitled “Mining for the Future: Jobs, Supply Chains and National Security. Pennsylvania’s Emerging Critical Mineral and Rare Earth Element Industry.” The hearing will explore how imperative Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and critical minerals are to our day-to-day lives and national economy, and how Pennsylvania has a unique opportunity to create jobs and be a solution to the country’s current supply chain challenges and reliance on China.
